Bluebell

Stayed there for 2 nights, when we were on a trip to hike the Rysy pike. The place is very easy to find, hosts are flexible in regards to check-in time as they live there too. They were welcoming and kind to us. The apartment itself is lovely too, each room has private bathrooms separate from the bedroom, but you can lock it if you want to as you have the key. Everything was super clean, in the bedroom you a mini fridge, microwave, kettle, so enough for either heating some prepped food, or you can prep some sandwiches for the day trip if you want to. There’s some cutlery, plates and mugs as well. You don’t have access to a kitchen, so don’t expect to cook there. The view from the room is just amazing, and the area is super quiet. Would definitely choose this place again if going back, and recommend it to anyone!

We have recently spent lovely 3 nights at Bluebell. This accommodation boosts amazing views of the mountains and is set in very peaceful and rural location. Our room was newly furnished with extremely comfortable bed and balcony with amazing views. There is also a fridge, microwave, kettle and some complimentary tea & coffee provided. Owners are very accomodating and helpful and we have really enjoyed the BBQ one evening. A truly amazing place we can highly recommend!

Nadhera

We booked a room for a week, Bluebell is located at a great location and has excellent pricing. It's a very underrated hotel. It has friendly and helpful staff. It also has a nearby bar a street away and a neaeby town with some great restaurants. It's also a nice centralized location to depart from on activities. Too bad it only had two English channels on the television, but that was no deal breaker.

We stayed at Bluebell for four days with my little son, hosts (Zuzka and Tomas) were extremely helpfull and kind. Our room was super clean, we were provided with a child bed as well. Garden is very child friendly, we loved the outside seating with an amazing Tatra mountain view.

Had a lovely time at the Bluebell! Nice welcome of Tomas and Zuzana in Mengusovce, a place hard to pronounce ;). My room had a beautiful panorama view on the high Tatras, a balcony and breakfast supplies! Strbske pleso (skiing, hiking) is accessible by bus just like Poprad.Furthermore, Mengusovce is a very quiet village, no tourists only local people. I think that's the beauty of it. During the day you'll visit touristy spots and relax later on in the Bluebell. Above all, Tomas and Zuzana are great hosts and lovely people.
